It depends on the type of paint you choose. For interior walls if the customer is using tractor or premium emulsion,it will last for 4 years and if the customers is going for royale varients from asian paints then it will last minimum of 7 to 8 years. For exterior walls.
Interior Paints: Designed for indoor use, these paints are formulated to be low in VOCs, quick-drying, and resistant to stains. They prioritize smooth finishes and color retention under artificial lighting. Common types include emulsion, acrylic, and enamel paints.
Exterior Paints: Built to withstand harsh weather conditions, these paints contain additives for UV resistance, waterproofing, and anti-fungal properties. They’re more durable and flexible to prevent cracking or fading due to sunlight, rain, or temperature changes.
Primer is a preparatory coating applied before paint. It helps create a uniform surface, improves paint adhesion, and enhances durability. Primers also seal porous surfaces (like new drywall or wood), preventing uneven absorption and reducing the number of topcoats needed. For previously painted or stained areas, primers help cover stains and improve the final color payoff.
Matte Finish: Offers a non-reflective, velvety texture that hides imperfections well. Ideal for ceilings and low-traffic areas.
Satin Finish: Slightly reflective and easy to clean, satin is great for living rooms, hallways, and kids' rooms. It balances aesthetics with practicality.
Gloss Finish: Highly reflective and durable, gloss paints are best for high-moisture or high-traffic areas like kitchens, bathrooms, doors, and trims.
Drying time refers to when the paint feels dry to the touch, while curing time is when it reaches maximum hardness and durability.
